Rubber Side Down

I have been riding on two wheels for as long as I can remember it seems. Bicycles and motorcycles. I really don't have a preference between the two, but have been pedaling longer than twisting a throttle. From the very beginning, the freedom and solitude have been the driving force of it all. Though I have ridden with others, solo riding is always my first choice. Getting out on a road or trail and into my own head space has allowed me to enjoy the experience all the more. There is nothing in the world I love more than those journeys, except perhaps the working on the various machines. I've always enjoyed wrenching. I had a career in bicycling for a couple of decades and I eagerly embraced motorcycle wrenching with the same gusto. This blog is really only for my own enjoyment, I don't honestly think anyone else would waste their time reading along to my adventures, but everyone is welcome to follow along. I would suggest several adult beverages if you feel like punishing yourself by reading what passes for my thoughts. I make no promises of any sort regarding enjoyment on your part. So there...consider that your only warning.
